With reunion just around the corner, things are in full swing:!
- Class Website – Please visit, subscribe, shop, and share. This is our online home and the latest and greatest will be posted here. We’ll also build membership features into the site if we get enough traction. Right now, we have about 270 active “good” email addresses for classmates, which means that about 240 classmates have either missing or “no good” email addresses. The more accurate our email list, the more effective we can be in keeping everyone in the loop. So please send the website to your personal classmate circles so they can subscribe.
- Alumni Reunion Celebration – May 31 – June 8 at various locations. A week-long series of celebratory events, ARC is planned and hosted by Kamehameha Schools Alumni Relations. We are ineligible to dorm this year. If you have questions about events and/or your tickets, please visit the website and/or contact the Alumni Office at alumnievents@ksbe.edu or (808) 534-8283.
- Lā ʻOhana – Saturday, June 1, 2o24 at Pōkaʻi Bay in Waiʻanae on O’ahu. Hosted by the class, families are welcome! In partnership with Nā Kama Kai (courtesy of classmates Matt Kauwe and Daniel Ito), we will begin our service project at 9 AM. At 12 PM, we will have lunch and launa at the beach until pau. - Class Night – Friday, June 8, 2024 at the Outrigger Waikīkī Beachcomber Hotel from 6 PM – 10 PM on the rooftop pool deck. It’s gonna be a ragerrr. Weʻll have heavy pūpū, DJ Compose, Peni Dean (from Natural Vibes), photo booth, prizes, and more! Tickets are $60 online until May 30 and $75 thereafter. It makes planning so much easier if people commit upfront. Be one of the first 99 tickets to get a cool retro motel-style keychain as pictured below. Let’s get to 99 today!
- Class Hotel – Outrigger Waikīkī Beach Hotel is our official class hotel for our 25th year reunion. We have group booking rates starting as low as $199 per night if you reserve your room online by May 27th. Stay any night(s) from June 1-11 to get a waived Daily Resort Charge and 50% off valet parking. Sleepover!
- Class Photos – KS invites our class to take an official class photo on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at 3:20 PM at the Ke’elikōlani Auditorium. We’ll also take an official class photo at 7 PM on Friday, June 7, 2024 during Class Night at the Outrigger Waikīkī Beach Hotel. Do both! Goldenrod!
- Class Scholarship – The Ke Alaula Scholarship is open to Class of 2024 high school graduates and is supported by funds raised through our class shop and class donations.
- Class Shop – All profits go towards our class scholarship fund. Right now, we have about seven orders, chee! Let’s, at least double that by the end of this week! We’ll add more designs to the store
- Class Donation – If you’d like to donate directly to the class, mahalo nunui and please do so here. After reunion, we’ll share details about money was collected and used and future plans for Class Dues, etc.
- Reunion Giving – Giving is a kākou effort and part of our kuleana to be good and industrious as we remain forever indebted to her. By donating to Pauahi Foundation, you help to perpetuate Pauahi’s will by providing educational opportunities for Native Hawaiians. Since we are a “celebrating class” this year, please mention our class to KS if you donate so that we can be eligible to win a prize. We’ve actually won before! Let’s do it again!
